    Apache 宣布发布Apache Geronimo 1.1 版本. 

    Geronimo是由Apache软件基金会开发的开放源代码实现J2EE 1.4规范的J2EE应用服务器。支持J2EE 1.4，支持Java Business Integration (JBI), 可以选择Jetty 或者 Tomcat 来作为web容器，同时，完全整合Eclipse Web Tools Project，Apache Derby 和 Apache Directory Server. 

    关于新版本,官方提到: 

    Geronimo 1.1 has been released and is available for user download. It includes numerous bug fixes as well as improvments to perforance, usability and brand new Plug-in feature that allows a user to dynamically build a server to suit their needs. Also included is a Little-G distribution that provides a subset of Geronimo components in a light weight download form |
